If You Are Friendly With Google, Is Google Friendly Back?

When I say Google what comes to your mind immediately?

Probably search?

Google owns search and it’s a chess game to be ranked 1st.

Whether it is fair or not there is strong evidence that Google is friendlier with those who support their tools and methodology then those who don’t.

For this reason alone you should get reviews on Google, have a Google+ account and a YouTube account.

This search engine loves fresh content, so creating accounts is not enough, there has to be activity. The more the better, we know that daily for most is out of the question, the next leap is weekly and then monthly. I would strongly suggest that you be friendly to it at a minimum of 12X a year.

The more engaging your content is, the better for you and your business.

Start being friendly to it, if you have a blog make sure the Google+ button is there too so your readers can tell Google they like you.

Any local business that has a Google Places listing (that should practically be every business out there) should create a Google+ account and linked to it in the “additional details” section. I haven’t seen anything “official” on this, but if I was a betting man, I would most certainly say that you’ll get a few extra brownie points for this.
For the few minutes it takes to set it up, why wouldn’t you do it?

P.S. I can guarantee that your competition isn’t doing this.
Every little bit that you can do in your favour that your competitors aren’t doing is going to help get you to the top that much quicker.

Claim your business’s listing on Google Places, Fill it out COMPLETELY, Including Pictures and Videos, Get as many review as possible. (minumum of 5) Google may love it so much they put you on their first page, Senting more customers and leads your way.
