Creating Content For Your Business Internet Marketing strategy

I don’t know what to say? is the most common thing I hear from business people who do not participate in social media and more importantly they are not creating content for their  business’s Internet Marketing strategy.

Here are 3 ways to create content.

What are your FAQ’s?

 Creating Content

When you respond to a clients question via email you have essentially written a blog post.  The problem is that it wasn’t posted on a public forum.  If you know how to send an email then you know how to publish a blog post.  With email you press the send button and with a blog you press the publish button.  Send your client the link to your newly published post.  Google can now see it and you never have to answer it again.  Copy and Paste the link to your next client who asks.

Break your industry into 12 categories

E.g. This blog talks about Internet Marketing…here are the categories

  1. Blogging and Landing Pages
  2. Branding
  3. Copy
  4. Email Marketing
  5. Mobile Marketing
  6. Sales Marketing
  7. Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click
  8. Analytics
  9. Social Media
  10. Tools & Tips
  11. Video Marketing
  12. Guest Posts
We have broken each category in 17 sub-categories and now we as a team write a short blog post about each of the 17 sub categories.  I still do one a week.  It took less then 2 hours to plan a years worth of content.

Break your 12 categories into 4 sub categories to = 48 blog posts.

Here is your 3rd way

I have done this numerous times with clients and every time we get about 70+ topics to blog about.
