On Twitter and Facebook you have lists, on Google+ you have Circles, in Email you have filters.

Manage your lists, connections and circles and you reduce the noise significantly.  I bet I wouldn’t use Twitter if lists didn’t exist.

It’s much much easier to start now and spend the few seconds for each new connection on a daily basis then to try and organize 1000 or 2000 in one sit down.

If social media and internet marketing is a long term investment for you, what will your database look like in 5, 10 or 15 years?  Organized or a massive mess?
