Find Out the Best Time To Post online to social networks
There are hundreds of statistics and analysis about the best time to post online to social networks like facebook, twitter, etc. Granting all the efforts to create informative analysis reports, I’d rather look into my visitors’ behaviors and see when they want me to post, because they are like no one else; in fact they are my unique visitors.
One way to quickly get a snapshot about visitors’ engagement when posting on any digital channel is to look at the instant reactions using a real time analytics tool. Great free and paid RTA tools like Clicky, Chart Beat, Woopra, MixPannel and Google Analytics are available in the market and they provide awesome reports.
Besides that, an hourly report which is a feature that most Web Analytics tools have these days, gives you deeper insights. In Google Analytics, you land on Visitors Overview report when logging in. This is where you can get a lot of information you need.
Simply click Hourly icon from the top right to get the hourly view. Select shorter time range to make sure the report is readable; I usually go for three days to a week date range. This report shows what time your visitors came to your website and the density of visit.

Assuming you tag your links when tweeting, posting on facebook, pin it on pinterest, or any other social networks, you can create a new profile and filter out the traffic from that source, then look into the Traffic Source Overview report on hourly basis.
There are tons of insights you can acquire by just a simple tool.
Find out when your visitors want to read your posts and don’t rely on general stats.
