HootSuite Is Always Evolving
I have been using HootSuite for a few years now and back when I started I am sure it was very robust but all I really used it for was to monitor streams of lists that I had created in Twitter (much easier then trying to flip between pages on Twitter). 2 new cool features from HootSuite have come out this week or at least I became aware of them this week. As I was browsing my Twitter feed this morning in HootSuite of course I came across this tweet.
HootSuite Integrates Google+
All for +1 and +1 for all! Google+ Pages integration now available to all HootSuite users:ow.ly/cldvB #HootPlus

Finally you can connect your Google+ page to a social media dashboard, I immediately went to my settings and made some changes. Because you are only allowed 5 accounts to be connected to HootSuite for their free version I had to remove a social platform in order to connect my Google+ page. My Google+ page that has been a little dormant will get some regular content on it now.
Once the Google+ Page was connected I went to my RSS Feed settings and told HootSuite to monitor ByzBlog.com and if there are any new posts to please post them to my Google+ page. Now as long as I publish new content then my page will be updated.
Hootlet Gets Auto Schedule
The 2nd feature I noticed this week was a tweak to their Hootlet. If you don’t know what the Hootlet is, it is a plugin that goes in your toolbar on your browser and with a single click you can share whatever webpage you are on to all your social platforms.

Again I have been using the Hootlet for a while but this week they added a feature that allows you to allow them to auto schedule the post for an optimum time. I do not know what data they use to figure this out but I am sure if you are browsing at 3am and you click the auto schedule button it would be a better option.

Do you use tools available to you to make your online life easier? What are some of your favorites?
