Fiverr.com Has Only Been Good To Me
If you have never used or heard of Fiverr.com let me tell you about it. Here is the slogan on their homepage “The world’s largest marketplace for small services, starting at $5″.
To be honest I have no idea how anyone makes money on the site except for the owners of Fiverr.com and Paypal who get a piece of the pie for every transaction. The people you hire at best would get $4 per project I would think? Who knows where these people live and $4 might go a long way? Either way as you will see I have used Fiverr.com 29 times since being introduced and I have not had a bad experience yet.
I was 1st introduced to Fiverr.com by Josh Rimer who got me to get a jingle created for this silly video I made.
I ventured back to Fiverr.com to get 25 custom drawings made for my book that is almost done. $125 for 25 custom drawings WOW!
Next I got my logo done for T3Results - yep $5
- Then I got my new double sided business cards made for $5.
- I even got a locked .PDF unlocked and converted into a Word document.
How Does Fiverr.com Work?
1st you go there search for the service you are looking for and then pay your $5. You send a note to the seller with some direction or instructions and wait. The turn around is usually same day too.
.
What Happens If The Work Is Not What You Expected?
First off it only cost you $5, don’t buy your venti frap that day if it bothers you that much. Second it has never been a problem to ask for a few tweaks. I contacted the seller who did my pictures and had several edited, the logo went back for some adjustments and my business cards were not the way I wanted them either. In all the situations the changes were made with no additional costs.
What have you used Fiverr.com for? How would you rate it?
