WHY are you working for free or close to it? If you don’t value the work you do your customers won’t value you either!
The answer I here most often is…“I’m working for free to get more experience or to build my knowledge!”
Do YOU have more experience or knowledge than the person you are doing work for? “YES” …then, ask to be paid market value for your services. STOP working for free!
If you are going to volunteer your time to build your knowledge and experience then volunteer for an organization that could truly benefit from your expertise, (i.e. the United Way, Big Brothers/Sisters, Children’s Hospital etc) Not only will they truly be grateful for your efforts, you may meet some great people who may actually pay you in the future.

Rates ,… Asking For More Money
Rates depend on many things. When I started my business as a Business COACH there was no pricing model for me to follow.
I asked around to find out what other coaches were charging and to be honest I was completely shocked by my findings. Coaches were charging clients anywhere from $300 -$3000 or more per month for an hour a week of coaching 4 times a month.
That is a pretty big spread in my mind and the main difference between a $300 per month coach and $3000 per month is coaches who have systems and confidence to ask for more make more! Continue Reading →

Why Is Passion So Important For A Business Owner?
As a constant learner and networker, I am amazed at the number of people who “tell me they love what they do”, but they do it in a very mono tone, life less voice. COME ON people, if you really love what you do, let it shine through.
People are constantly asking me, “Kyle you are so full of energy, passion, and enthusiasm, how do you do it?” I TRULY love what I do. I am excited to get to out of bed everyday, I wake between 4:30 and 5am WITHOUT an alarm clock. When I wake I recite and replay my positive affirmations everyday. I set my intention before I get out of bed. “I AM PASSIONATE” is one such affirmation. You have to believe it is true and you have to live it throughout the day. Continue Reading →

It is also known as 6 degrees of separation, with the Internet and social media, this concept is even smaller than 6 degrees.
Pay attention to what other people are doing and talking about. LISTEN! It’s a skill that takes practice, listen to what is not being said, listen for clues (aka cries for help). Continue Reading →
